Amazon Prime Members Can Claim More Than A Dozen Free Games Right Now
7 games comprise March's Prime Gaming lineup, but there a bunch of other freebies are still available if you haven't claimed them.
Prime Gaming's March 2023 lineup features seven PC games, including Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition, I Am Fish, and Adios. Once you claim the freebies, they are yours to keep forever. In addition to the free games, Prime members can snag in-game loot for popular titles such as Genshin Impact and League of Legends.
Prime Gaming is continuing its new release format for the free games in March. Instead of giving away every game on the first of the month, Prime Gaming is offering the lineup in waves, with new freebies going up every Thursday.
Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition is the biggest name among the March freebies. This updated version of the classic PC RPG launched in 2013, but it still holds up today. It comes with the original game and the great Tales of the Sword Coast expansion.
For some laughs and possible frustration, check out I Am Fish, the successor to the notoriously difficult physics-platformer I Am Bread. I Am Fish stars four fishies who are stranded outside of their fish tank home and embark on an arduous quest to make it to the ocean. Colorful visuals and humorous scenarios help make I Am Fish a charming adventure, but beware that it's a tricky game. Part of the fun comes from your hilarious failures.
Adios is a narrative-focused game centered on a pig farmer who allows the mob to get rid of bodies at his farm. When the farmer decides he wants out of the arrangement, a hitman pays him a visit, which leads to a compelling, high-stakes conversation.
Meanwhile, fans of the show Peaky Blinders can experience a canonical story that takes place prior to the show in the puzzle game Peaky Blinders: Mastermind.
The lineup is rounded out with the serene puzzle game Faraway 3: Arctic Escape, hack-and-slash action game Book of Demons, and hidden-object puzzler City Legends: Trapping in Mirror - Collector's Edition.
You can play even more freebies in March via the Prime Gaming Channel on Amazon's Luna streaming service. Three games will be available to stream throughout the month: Mega Man 11, Sail Forth, and Get Packed: Couch Chaos. Unlike the other freebies, you can only play these three games in March.
The Prime Gaming Channel offers members a chance to try Amazon's Luna game streaming service. If it works well for you, you should take a look at the wider Luna library that's available to Luna+ subscribers ($10/month). Two new games are being added to the library in March: Guacamelee 2 and Citizen Sleeper. New Luna+ users can can get a seven-day free trial.
Along with the free games, Amazon Prime subscribers can snag free in-game content for a variety of popular games, including Valorant, Genshin Impact, Grand Theft Auto Online, and Rainbow Six Siege. If you're not an Amazon Prime member, new subscribers can get a free 30-day trial. You can keep all of the free games and content even if you don't wind up paying for a subscription.
